It is reputed that the founder of Akamagbo clan was Agbo Ura. History recorded that in the ancient times the descendants of Agbo moved down from Ogodo Ette to this their present settlement.
Agbo had two sons; Oko the first son and Okwo the second son.
Akamagbo clan is inside Ugbaike community and it shares common boundaries with Uda, Amufie and Igbelle. It is recorded that Akamagbo people bought majority of the lands they have today from their neighboring villages.
Akamagbo or Umu-Agbo (as they can be called also) has developed into a very large village that can even obtain their autonomy.
